Break — 2 Corinthians 5:17

What Does 2 Corinthians 5:17 Mean?

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV)

Break. A small word with weight. To break the mold. To break the pattern. To break the silence. To choose differently than the script you were handed. The verse behind the Break collection is one of Paul's clearest declarations: if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.

Notice the phrasing. Not "is being remodeled." Not "is in the process of improving." A new creation. Past tense. Already done. The old has gone — past tense. The new is here — present tense. The verse describes what God has done, not what you are working toward.

That is the foundation of every change a Christian ever makes. We do not break what was in our own strength. We respond to what Christ has already broken on our behalf. The old self — the patterns, the addictions, the identities you were stuck inside of — does not have the final word anymore.

The Break collection is for believers who refuse to keep wearing what no longer fits. Who know the gospel is louder than the algorithm. Who are ready to break what needs breaking, in the strength of the One who broke it first.
